Manuel leads the litigation practice at Moctezuma Castro. He has broad local and international practice handling defense cases for domestic and global corporations in Mexico. He is authorized to practice law in all states and courts in Mexico.

He enjoys a good mix of business and international litigation work defending corporate clients. He has successfully enforced multimillion-dollar foreign judgments in civil and commercial matters. Furthermore, Mr. Moctezuma has been appointed in numerous instances as an expert witness in Mexican law with respect of taking of evidence in civil and commercial matters to be used in foreign judicial and arbitration proceedings.

Manuel Moctezuma practice also focuses on structuring, documenting, and negotiating domestic and international business transactions in real estate, energy, banking, insurance, shipping, aviation, services, telecommunications and construction industries.

Mr. Moctezuma is also a contributor to the South Texas College of Law, and has spoken at numerous presentations in both Mexico and the United States of America on Mexican law at the Houston Bar Association, the Greenspoint District in Houston, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico and has presented numerous CLE programs in Houston.
