Mrs. Castro has more than 15 years of legal practice in the fields of transactional law and international law. She has practiced at leading law firms in Mexico City such as White & Case, S.C. and Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. She represents and develops strategies for clients in cross-border joint ventures and acquisitions. Paulina Castro focuses primarily on international commercial transactions, international joint ventures and investments by U.S. clients in Mexico. She has represented the interests of domestic and international clients in real estate and complex corporate transactions in Mexico. She has knowledge concerning NAFTA and other free trade agreements in which Mexico is a party. Mrs. Castro is also experienced with arbitration rules from private and international bodies such as UNCITRAL, ICSID, ICC and the AAA. She was awarded with top honors at the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court Competition held at the American University Washington College of Law in 2000.
